Märzen is brewed for the annual Oktoberfest celebration. It has a rich amber color and a malty flavor profile that's balanced by a mild hop bitterness. The Märzen style originated in the Bavarian region of Germany and was traditionally brewed in the spring and then stored (or lagered) until the fall.
